Today we fought a fire.  No joke, Nikki and I worked together to put out a diesel fire we came across in the parking lot.  Thankfully, we had three fire extinguisher and a fire marshal who just so happened to be there; what a coincidence! 

In truth, we were attending a fire safety orientation.  We learned about different kinds of fires, fire prevention, fire safety, and how to put out/contain various fires.  At the end of the workshop, we went out to the parking lot to practice using the fire extinguishers on live flames.  Don't worry, the fire was far from any combustible material.  We make excellent bomberos if I do say so myself!
